Green screen is easy when you are working in a small scale. You can light with flashlights. I need to begin working green screen with a bigger scale!
Anyways, I am modeling 3D in Maya based on objects I have. Mostly old accessories from Transformers, like the Swift3D/Flash sample I posted (I don't think it shows up in IE, but it does in Firefo). This camera I filmed after the jump is a small plastic accessory from GI Joe: A Real American Hero. More after the jump
I have this camera modeled in Maya. I have always thought of shooting it stop-motion, and I decided that it would be a good exercise in green-screening. Filmed with StopMotionMaker Pro, and composited in After Effects with some help of some additional plug-ins to clean up the color key. I am working with limited space and with limited light, so I couldn't get the lighting down perfectly, but these plug-ins helped quite a bit in cleaning it up for what I need done. I'm not trying for Sin City or anything.
I will probably be re-shooting the turntable so it loops a little cleaner. This was a test run and it worked out pretty nicely I think.
